“Closed” means the meeting is for people who have — or think they may have — a drinking problem. Newcomers are welcome.
Notes
Big Chunks of Truth welcomes every person of any race, ancestry, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity, age, educational background, national origin, or religion. The only requirement to attend our meeting is a desire to stop drinking. We have a rotating format that goes: 1st Tuesday of the month is a Step Discussion (12&12), 2nd = Big Book, 3rd = Tradition, 4th = Topic. If there’s a 5th Tuesday in a month, we discuss another Step. If we have a medallion or group anniversary, then we might do an open meeting format. If we have a medallion then we do an open meeting format.
